High resolution render

I want to render 47k (47000*23500).......Am using Vray.......Plz help how can i render on this size ???? or CAN i Or i Can't??????

For people who don't have Vray, you can check this link for the procedure to create high res render with the "blowup" option.

I didn't check, but im pretty sure you could also find interesting scripts or plugins to help you with your high resolution Images.

Hello @patelpankaj193,

You can render up to 50,000 x 50,000 with Vray Frame Buffer, but you need to disable the checkbox as shown below. Otherwise, The max res in the Max frame buffer is 32,768 x 32,768. Please let me know if you have any questions.

there is still a major issue file unable to get render.....file just crash or 3dsmax close automatically...

my system configuration is below in screenshot please help....

Hello @patelpankaj193,

A file that big can be tricky to render. There are a number of methods and things that can be done to make it work. Which version of Vray are you using?

When rendering large images, you can take a few steps. I highly recommend the Vray forums for more information.

1) Render to a VRIMG format out of the frame buffer, very stable for large renders.

2) Disable the Memory Frame Buffer. You won't be able to see the render while it is going then.

3) Set a proper memory limit and if it still crashes, try Static Memory. (And also maybe "Conserve Memory")

4) You may try to strip render in backburner. (May not need VRIMG if you do this, but it's a huge pain if you have render elements. I suggest making a Photoshop action to reassemble as large images can often need this.)

I have a couple screenshots below to further illustrate 2) and 3) above. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I do want to reiterate it may be desirable to post in the Chaosgroup forums about this issue, Vlado is very helpful and they have a lot of great threads about this.
