Problem window setting are cut (inside slate material editor)

Hello, i don't realy know how to explain so i think picture is better.
In 3dsmax 2024, insid material editor, many of my setting are "cut" on the right side and i can't do anything for extend the window setting.... Please i need some help quick... THANK YOU A LOT !

It's work !
I follow this part of your link :

So the workaround is to change this only for the APP (3dsMax and Maya) itself:

- Go to the Application "3dsmax.exe" and open its properties

- Go to the compatibility tab

- click on "High DPI settings"

Now another panel opens and the settings are different for 3dsMax and for Maya (at least in my case)

3dsMax:

- enable: Use this settings for scaling problems

- dropdown menu: when I open this application

- enable: overwrite high DPI scaling, made by "Application"

Hi,

Are both screens in use, the laptop and external screen?
Are they both using differing resolutions, and can you make them run the same resolution?
Could you possibly test only using the external display only, with the laptop screen off?

I noticed strange GUI problems like this when using two external monitors of varying resolutions.
The problems went away when I began using two of the same resolution (and brand) 4k monitors instead.
There can even be problems when accidentially mixing up using the [L or number 1] Screen as the [R or number 2] screen and vice versa.

Hopefully the above tips might help to circumnavigate the problem, although without actually finding the root cause which is most likely software, or drivers. All of which should be also updated too.

Hi,

Just another thing, you could try to temporarily rename your ENU folder, with 3DSMax closed, and then restart. Just to rule out GUI corruption. If it's still cutting off part of the SME menu, then close 3DSMAx and rename it back. I can't really think of anything else, except maybe trying a different version of Max, to test out that it's not just the version of Max you're currently running.

Hi!

Thank you for this suggestion too! but it's not working.

I realize that this problem is visible only under general maps.

Other map types work well, like OSL- Arnold - Corona, etc shown correctly.

Fall off - Output - Bitmap, etc.. has this problem.

Maybe need to change just the line code, which is related to the general map parameters. *.ini or *.layout etc. I am not experienced in coding just try to be logical.

Hrmm, that does indeed sound like a software bug. I wonder why it's localised to you though? Do you have your installation localised to a different language? If so, that might be the cause of it. In such case I would contact official Autodesk support: https://www.autodesk.com/support/contact-support they might have a workaround, or perhaps it has been patched in a later version?
Certainly a strange one alright, the way it only affects native Autodesk maps. Certainly points to a bug imho.

Yes, need to make both screens the same DPI.

My laptop 16 inch - 2k/ 150 dpi. Lg c2 42 inch 4k / 150 dpi.

When l Start max like this all the menu works well and l can change it to 100 dpi for more space.

But if this dpi both set 100 and l start max l have menu not fully visible bug. So each time l start max with 150 dpi set for both monitor, after l set work screen 100 dpi. My solution is this.

I have exactly same issue with clean Windows install and clean 3ds 2024 and 2025. No plugins. Just one 4K TV as monitor. All old native shaders and maps setup UI are cut when Windows fonts scaling is 100. I made my own topic, as couldn't find similar at first.

P.S. 3ds Max 2021 and 2023 has no this problem - I checked this later.
