    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been a maxscripter for many years and recently thought I would try and get into MCG. So I thought I'll start off with something reasonably simple and make a modifier to take face normals and plug the result into the vertex color channel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 nights later and many different graphs I'm stuck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have my facenormal array which I have duplicated each element by 3 for the map verts and I have the mapChannelIndexBuffer, but I cant seem to find a way to link the two together to produce the right output. When I do get an output its as if the element index is not being set correctly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MCG is not very helpful at querying intermediate steps in your graph, its a real handicap, unless I'm missing something.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for any help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
