Hello @dejan_cro and welcome to the community,

I'm sorry to hear that you got burned by this. 10 hours is a long time however for a render, do you need any help with bringing those render times down? At the very least strip rendering might help here so you don't lose everything if the machine crashes or times out.

This blog post goes over how to adjust the timeouts in backburner. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you Autodesk for the backburner job default time out period of 10 hours, it will be a pleasure to re-render the image. I didn't even know such an option existed till now.

Thanks for the reply, Alfred. I think I've found what caused the long render time and I was able to finish the project in time, but you can understand my frustration after seeing the render almost done and then suddenly just shutting down, which may have been reflected in the "tone" of my original post 🙂
Thanks for the links, too. I've already found that information on my own, but thanks all the same.

No worries at all. I know how stressful this field is and how unmovable many deadlines are so I don't take frustrations personally 99% of the time. Plus, I'm an Italian guy from Philly so I grew up around tons of tone if you get my drift? I am very happy that you got your render out in time and thanks for letting me know it ended up ok!
