MCG - Roller coaster

Hey

I'm trying to learn MCG and build a tool like in this video at 30 seconds:

Can any1 suggest as to what to look for/google/how to start?

I started watching AD MCG videos about cloning object/offseting transforms etc etc... Where to go next ? How to find how to clone along path/join meshes/etc/etc?

the problem is that you are not gonna find the whole tutorial the person who did that model is louis marcoux that roller coaster is not even on his website www.louismarcoux.com/

there are other ways to do it but unless you know how to do clone along path join meshes then i think you are running before you can walk if your new to max but this is pure speculation i don't know.

here is part 1 of another way to do a Roller coaster but this also just gives you the basic of the catwalk and you need to continue on your own from what you learn in the videos

there are others on youtube and the webs search for 3ds max Roller coaster tutorial, some are in videos and written form

I think that was a part of Louis AU Class last year. The video, presentation, and handout files can be found here. The handout has a link to download additional files.

I wanted to also mention the Learning Channel on Youtube and The Area Learning hub as alternative places to find more information. I know that @melissa.lax has been discussing more MCG tutorials recently as well, and she may have some more insights.
