Slate Material editor - materials don't update automatic

Hi Everyone,

I have pushed a wrong button somewhere in the Slate Material Editor, but I don't know which one.

My materials don't update automatically any more after changing the material. The only way to get it updated is clicking on the preview and hit U to manual update it.

I have attached a file with how it looks now.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi Judith, I ran into this one already. Click on the teapot in the lower left of the slate window. Its always been there in previous versions, but the default has been on, they turned it off in 2017 as the default.

Thanks for the solution. It's been driving me crazy for like 2 weeks now. Funny thing is, it worked before until one day it just stopped and I'm sure I wasn't the one that turned it off. Does it have some hidden keyboard shortcut that I accidentally pressed - not aware that the Slate editor window was the active one?
