best result I've found so far is this: after assigning Physical material

01) in Mat Slate, select the material, click and hold the Show Material in viewport icon, select the bottom which is Show Realistic

02) in viewport, set to High Quality, then click on High Quality>Materials>Realistic Materials with Maps

It may take a coupla secs for the result to come up...sometimes you may have to redo steps 01 and 02 just to 'jiggle' things into place

Hi,

is there any fast way to display PBR materials in the viewport. Metallness, Roughness and all those stuff? Tried the direct X shader but it renders the diffuse map not that way I expected that.

I just need the display, no need for renders as it is for game environments.

Thanks

Hello @MatthiasGose3847,

The key is in the DirectXShader. If you have PBR textures, try the Stingry shader set within the DirectX Shader. Chances are the reason that they looked wrong in your viewport was that Gamma 2.2 is enabled, you need to turn off gamma in Rendering->Gamma/LUT setup. Then you just use the preset .dds files for spec and cube environment or plug in your own. Can you please verify if you had already done that or try that for me? Thanks!

Best Regards,
