3ds Max fails to install - Error 1603.

Hello everybody,

I'm having serious problems installing Autodesk products: I have got a student license and evrything worked good untill the other day, when every software stopped working. I had to reset and format my PC due to other problems, and when trying to reinstall Autodesk software I got the message error in the "screenshot (1).png" attached (this is for 3ds Max). With other Autodesk apps that are still installed I get a different error code of course (see "screenshot (2)".png attached, but the result is the same: they're not working.

Do you know how I can fix this?

Thanks a lot for your fast and kind answer. Unfortunatelly it didn't help... I think the probllem is somehow more "general" and connected also to Qt platform plugin that gave me an error with Microsoft OneDrive, for example. So it's a Windows system problem I believe. Thanks again anyway.

Specifically, it has something to do with Qt platform. I'm trying by
resetting my PC.

I was going to suggest that. I was thinking it might not be a Max problem but instead a Windows one. Maybe you need to format and reinstall Windows one more time. I've had to do that in the past. Since you just did it, you won't lose too much customization. But I realize it does take a lot of time.

I'd Google 'Windows error 1603' and try some suggestions that you find.
