how to view planes in different colors

Greetings. I am wondering which viewport setting do I have to set it to to get to see my different planes and objects in different colors?
I cant seem to presently see the colors that are assigned in the object properties display

There are only planes that I can see that are different colors, while the rest are the same color and I cant seem to change it.

I think you are talking about the display color of an object?

Click on the box I circled in the image and you can change the object's color...

Hello @RadioRahim,

If there is a texture or material applied to the object, it will display that texture or material color rather than the object color. (The wireframe will still be the object color though.) You can override the viewport colors to display object color rather than mat or texture color as shown below. Thanks!

I have a bunch of planes now that are all grey upon import. They all have colors assigned to them but I cant seem to get them to view in color. What diplay port setting do i need to colorize them?

Hello @RadioRahim,

They may be grey because they are on a locked layer or because their shaders are grey or are missing maps and showing the diffuse color. Do they have shaders applied to them?
