Arnold renderer disappeared

Started 3ds Max up today and wondered why some of the materials appeared black. This isn't unusual with 3ds Max so I didn't worry too much. Once I was finished modeling and was about to start rendering, I noticed that Arnold had disappeared completely.

I downloaded the latest version and tried installing it again. No errors or notifications and installation was successful. Still, Arnold doesn't appear in render menu or in plugins list.

I don't have time to reinstall 3ds Max every time stuff like this happens. How can I fix it?

I am using 3ds Max 2025 with all the latest updates installed.

Now it happened on my other computer too. Different scene, same result.

Hi, having the same issue since yesterday, no Arnold renderer on the list. When I opened the scene I got the following dialog box. It seems that now it does not find Arnold and asks me to change scene parameters. Hope some can help. Thanks.

I just reinstalled 3ds Max. Seems it has become a standard procedure at least once every new version of the program.

Same here! Seems that every update WE need to digg and solve Autodesk problems.

There are no new versions but only new crap. Every year we got new problems to solve. I am curious if the guys took a glance at Chaos products.
