I've been really enjoying it! It's much more stable than I felt 2017 ever was, so for that reason alone I'm already a fan.

The Arnold renderer is pretty fantastic, it's slowly been winning me over with what a pleasure it is to work in.

The UI is kind of finicky to me, I think that's my only real complaint...I like pulling my modifier panel into a two-panel version, and the dynamic resizing the UI does now sometimes forgets I'm at a two panel width. Minor annoyance, but figured I'd be open on pros and cons!

Hi, I work with max 2017 in archviz and I wonder if 2018 Worth to be installed.

Not a new bashing AD topic, just need some views of working people.

I have lot of plugs, I imagine I can't save 2017 ui/keys/menus,... and reload it in 2018 and so on.

So if anybody can give me his pros and cons. Thanks.

(sorry for my bad English)

just you know 2018 does not come with Mental ray anymore so if this something you need you would need to purchase from Nvidia or use the free version from them if you don't need network rendering
