3ds max 2017 will not open script controller AND SHOW STOPPED WORKING

AFTER UPDATE OF 3dsMax ( INSTALL PATCH NAME 2017.2_Update ) TO 3DAMX 2017

THEN UPDATE WINDOW 10

OPEN 3DMAX 2017 THEN CANNOT USE 3DMAX 2017 IT'S SHOW script controller AND SHOW STOPPED WORKING

I HAD

UNINSTALL PROGRAM 3DMAX 2017 AND WINDOW --> RUN --> REGEDIT THEN DELETE FOLDER AUTODESK

UNINSTALL MS VC+++

UPDATE WINDOW 10 VERSION 1703 TILL 6 SEP 2017

INSTALL 3DAMX 2017 NEW

AND OPEN 3DMAX SOME FILES CAN OPEN AND THEN RENDER IT'S OK AFTER THAT

I OPEN NEW PROGRAM 3DMAX AFGAIN IT'S ERROR ---> SHOW script controller AND SHOW STOPPED WORKING

I TRIED

I HAD CHANGED PATH 3dsMax TO OLD

(C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\ Autodesk\3dsMax)

I reinstall 3DMAX AGAIN THEN --> SHOW script controller AND SHOW STOPPED WORKING

PLEASE HELP !!!

Are you opening a scene with a script controller in it or does this just happen when you start 3ds Max? Can you please try to reset your user settings for me? (See my sig for instructions.) Did that help? If not, can you tell me a bit more about how this started? Thanks for the information.

ONE PC

I Had Install new window update to yesterday window 10 pro ( winver 1703 ) AND

UPDATE PACTH 3DMAX TO 3dsMax_2017.2_Update

Open files then render already (vray_adv_35003_max2017) render test it ok

After that open new 3d max 2017 found problem every time

(attach files error 3dmax )

I TRIED

STEP 1

I had delete

C:\Users\praphan\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax

delete Folder 2017-64bit Can open 3 dmax

Then Open files then render (vray_adv_35003_max2017) render test it ok

After that open new 3d max 2017 found problem every time

(attach files error 3dmax )

STEP 2

I UNINSTALL VC++ ALL AND INSTALL AGAIN

AND DO STEP 1 FOUND SAME PROBLEM

(attach files error 3dmax )

I FOUND PROBLEM THIS 4-5 PC WIN 10 AND WIN 7 PRO 64 BIT

NOW I USE METHOD (TEMP )

I had delete

Do you have any custom scripts in the scripts or startup folders?

What other plugins are you using?

Does this problem go away if you uninstall Vray?

Hello all,

For those reading this thead with similar symptoms, please reference the articles in this post for more information about this issue. These problems are caused by 3rd party Maxscript files and the resolution can be found in that thread. For the issue reported here, it appears to be the ALC Maxscript. Thank you very much.

I am facing the same issue and i tried uninstall and installed again but still it shows the same problem script controller i started 3d max 2015 normally but it closes with script controller and window pops up windows is now closing.

i have the same issue here but i have a student version and i cant report a technical issues, it tells me email and phones "Not offered for non-subscribers"
