      <description>&lt;P&gt;There is a pretty wide range of talents needed to make a video game or something like Avatar quality animations. And a wide variety of expensive tools needed as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For animation I would suggest learning a software like 3ds Max or Maya (in general, Maya may be better for character animation, though I have always been a 3ds Max guy since I am more in the Arch Viz world).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For video games or AR/VR, I'd recommend learning a game engine like Unity.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are 'fluent" in both of those, you'd be sitting pretty good. In reality though, many of the people that work in this industry are highly specialized, so I'd recommend finding the specific aspect of animation and game creation that you love and really concentrate on perfecting those skills. Be it animation, modeling, textures, programming...there are tons of options...find your niche and master it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
