3ds Max graphic device error

I was using it yesterday fine and today this error has popped up, Ive looked online but still cant find method I can do to help, ive tried the ones on the help page but I cant find the option to do most the steps, need help??

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

You may try to update your graphics driver, sometimes W10 updates drivers while 3D operations are occurring which can cause issues. You may also try a different display driver in 3ds Max. Did you do any Windows updates last night?

OK, this happened to me yesterday (26th October) and my for reasons unknown, my System crashed. I had to force Shutdown, and restart couple of times. When I started Max then after, it asked for License (that's weird given that it still has time before expiring), and when I clicked "I have a license" (or something similar) it started fine.

About the WINDOWS 10 Update, I updated it hours after this issue happened, so I do not know if this is the issue! Are there any other reasons this might occur?

Not really @Fadhil_Farook, but the Fall Creator's Update just released and there is always an influx of random issues when those are initially released. It usually takes a few different cases reporting the same issue before a solution is found if it's caused by Windows. One other person did report a license issue on Friday of last week but that's the only one I've seen.

Hello! I also had 3ds Max 2018 working for few days and yesterday showed that message. Looking for the solution, I have find that my graphic card is not among listed in 3ds Max certified hardware (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M). Is there solution for this? Thank you!
