Can't see the gizmo in edit mode

I can't see the transform gizmo and I cannot transform in edit mode and am at a complete standstill. I can see the axes.

When I hit the x button it says "Search all actions." Autodesk 2018.

2016 version and upper version = Shift+ctrl+X

Or

Start appliction > Option > Gizmo Tap > Mark ON GIZMO Trans

Shift+Ctrl+X does nothing in edit mode, only in object mode.

I don't understand. Where is Option? It is not a tab.

The X button will hide and unhide the gizmo ok try and hit the shift control and the x

No it's just grouped, are you sure you have not use the - sign to make the gizmo smaller it try making it bigger by keep hitting the + sign, if that doesn't work then you mite need to Reset 3ds Max / 3ds Max Design to default user profile settings https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Resetting-3ds-Max-3ds-Max-Design.html

I reset my settings and I still cannot edit my mesh.

why do you have 2 mesh selects on one mesh?

your tranforms are unavailable because your in sub-object model if you want to edit your mesh then you can convert it down to a edible mesh or poly or add a edit poly or edit mesh modifer

Thank you! I was using the Mesh Select modifier not the Mesh Edit modifier.

Autodesk doesn't want you to change the shortcuts. Suddenly, the gizmo was locked and panicked in the midst of a busy situation, but even the shortcut keys were changed, so I was very troubled and really upset.
