Hi, i was just doing a little simulation in fluids, and max crashed just as the solve completed, before an autoback save was made or the file was saved, now i have checked andit seems like the file for the solve is complete judging by size, but when i reopen max i cannot work out how to make it read the done cache, is there a way to relink said cache? as i would prefer not to spendf the hours resimming the scene

any help be massive

thanks for reading

Not sure if it works, but i've found with crashes i've had that when i opened the Autobackup i had to save it to the name of the original file in order to get it to read the cache....
So perhaps that's all it needs, the exact same filename...

You could try going into the SimCache folder and renaming the folder for your completed cache and then saving your scene under that name...
(guessing it's probably stored as "untitled")
