Poblem during Modeling (Yellow square cursor)

Hello, i'm a french student in Canada, maybe my problem is a bad handling. I work on Qwerty at university and Azerty in my computer. And this problem come only on my computer.
Sometimes i have this cursor (Yellow square with a cross) and i can't remove it. Even if i close and reopen my project, at the moment i have to return to an old backup.
If you can help me to remove my cursor, and explain me for what is this cursor ? Thank you

Guess you pressed 'S' for snaps. Hit 'S' again to turn them off again. What happened to your Main toolbar? Did you hide it?

I work with 2 screen, one with all my tools and the othr one with Ctrl X
