Hello,
I would like to ask what is the right procedure when a texture is missing in a downloaded or moved model between the folders. I have tried several procedures and none is good.

1. add paths in custom user path / add xref

- this way works but it cause autosaving too slow cca 20x (5min when scene is mor complex)

2. add my 3D models library to max project folder / import and set relative path in asset tracking

- this way didnt work. bitmaps still missing.

3. set path to all missing bitmaps separate. in asset tracking.

- this way works but setting all path take very long time and must doing it always when I start new project.

Please tell me how you solve this problem. Where do you have a project folder located and where model library in case you are using 2 or more disks such as C for system and D for work and projects

Thank you.

For abitrary solution I use: http://www.colinsenner.com/relinkbitmaps/Relink%20Bitmaps%20v2.10.mzp

It's awesome fixing and relinking missing bitmaps.

You can search entire disks, or sub folders. make quick search paths and so on.

After you have relinked maps, you can use the build in asset collector to pull everything into a nice single folder.
