Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

When you see this sort of thing, it means that the face normals are inside out. You can put a 'normal' modifier on the object to flip them, or you can do it in the Edit Poly or Edit Mesh level with "Flip" in face mode under Edit Polygons or Edit Mesh. Can you please try that for me?

Importing FBX model into Unity but materials are facing inward: Caused by scale?

Hey Folks,

I'm a game dev student currently doing an animation/asset design class in using 3dsmax and I just rigged and finished animating the model and it looks absolutely fine in render within 3DSMax, however when I import it into UNITY parts of the model are transparent and have the material on the inner face of the object.

It affects the Head, Eyeballs, Mouth and the Body. But ignores the arms and legs. I believe when I attached the objects that had been mirrored to the main body it applied the negative scale to it. the X scale is set to -67.

Any ideas on how to fix this without breaking the skin modifier?
