I can understand the reasoning behind it - hard to answer questions about connectivity issues and others when you aren't using that feature. And lets face it, if this was just open feedback on whether or not people "like" it we (and they) know what the response would be.

Did anybody get a survey mail today? From Jeffrey MacMillan, Director of Business Model Transformation?

It said the survey was about the subscription model. "Please tell us your opinion" it said. But after I chose "single license" then "maintenance" for my contract details, I was transported to a "thank you" page then on to the Autodesk website. No chance to give any opinion.

Does this mean that Autodesk is not interested in the opinions of those who are still on the maintenance plan? Would be quite a kick in the face if so. Another kick in the face, that is.

The wording was something like .... "We're currently appraising our subscription system and we'd like everyone's opinion ............. We would especially like to ask about pricing."

As one of those who has been considering quitting max altogether since the over-priced rental system began, I would have thought my opinion would be useful to Autodesk, even if it was negative.
