Hello, I am trying to render texture on a pointed object, but the top doesnt look properly whatever projection i try. I also tried both uvw map and unwrap uvw, change tiling size and xyz alignment. I am new to 3d modelling and 3ds max so not really sure what techniques are usully applied for something like this. Can anyone help please?

Hello @Anonymous

It looks like you are visiting as a new member to the 3DS Max forum. I want to extend a warm welcome to the Autodesk Community!

In regards to your question, I would recommend using the edit UV tool, so you can use some more customized tools to relieve the stretching in your model. Here is a good video that goes over how to go about that.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any more help or something doesn't make sense in the process 😄

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
