(in my case the player must be able to walk on it)

i'm not sure what is the good way to make a collision mesh for it.
Here is an example of the terrain that a want to make a collision mesh for it (it is one of many):

example

Any suggestion or hints?

and here is the .max file (just in case).
Thanks

Hello @Anonymous

Thanks for bringing your question to the forums, it looks like you are visiting as a new member to the 3DS Max forum. I want to extend a warm welcome to the Autodesk Community!

From what I remember, you should be able to use a duplicate version of the same ground plane mesh as your collision object, yours doesn't look overly complicated, just export another copy! I haven't worked in UDK in almost 10 years, but here is some documentation on collision objects from the UDK site.

I hope some of this information is helpful! And I'm more than happy to answer any other questions you may have regarding 3DS Max 😄

Hello Hagen, thank u:) the link is containing useful information.

And if someone interested I also used one of 3ds max modifiers called ProOptimizer it helped me to make the collision mesh with less polygon.

Thanks again 🙂
