You can associate several UVW Map modifiers to different polygons of a single object with multi-subobject materials and control the scale and orientation of each UVW Map modifier gizmo independently with channels. For example, create as many UVW Map modifiers as you need for the object but use a different map channel for each. I like to modify the name of the modifiers to help me keep track. Make sure the bit map's channel number is the same number as the UVW Map modifer that you want to associate with it.

For example,

Hi,

I created a room, with 4 walls. Each one of them have different material (paint, ceramic tiles, wood panels).

Created Poly IDs for each of the wall to be able using "Multi/Sub-object material" assing 4 different materials.

However i need to eddit scale and mapping of ceramic tiles, but when i do it using "UVW Map" it changes the way other walls looks like (paint, wood panels).

Can someone please help me to understand how to do it properly?

Thank You

Hi @jackob_raczynski ,

Appreciate you bringing your question to the forums. I'm curious, after applying the UVW Map modifier, have you had a chance to scroll down the modifier and open up the UV Editor? If not, here is a video that might help you navigate and explore how to use the tools in the editor

I'm guessing the reason it's changing is because you are applying a new Map to the whole object, and since it's all one material, it reapplies to the whole object every time.

If I'm off base, maybe a screenshot could help explain the issue further.

Warm regards,
