Yes, that's my findings and knowledge too. I'm hoping that someone knows otherwise. You never know until you ask, right?

I've been unsuccessful searching the web. It would be great if it existed.

I'd guess there might be away to set it up on a personal Amazon or Google cloud server system but I'd have to buy Max and Fluids licences to get those machines to talk to each other.

Does "Cloud Processing" exist yet?

I know we can do distributed rendering if we have additional machines to connect to but does "cloud processing" exist for 3ds Max?

I'm a small studio. I used to maintain 5 render farm machines but it became too costly and online render farms are pretty reasonable now. I find that some processes, like solving fluids, can take days to solve. I can't give up my one main machine for that. If I could upload Max file to the cloud and have it process it would be a fantastic advantage. It makes it difficult for a small studio to compete with the bigger houses when a process takes a machine out of service for days on end. It's also is difficult for me to justify spending $5000 to build another hot machine (and buy another license to Max and the fluid solver) to do that 5 or 6 times a year.

Does this even exist? If not, we should start it up and become millionaires...

as far as i know not for what your asking

its all local processing

the only cloud processing i have seen is for rendering out still images

it will probably require more 3rd party software nothing from autodesk

using AWS could be a solution but it will also add more to the costs on top of addtional 3ds max licenses

Yea, no doubt. It would be cost prohibitive as a one-off solution I'm afraid, even if you could get it working.

But, as a business model for a start-up, hmmm...with the right business plan, this could become a thing.
