In the projection window, the model is not strictly perpendicular to the observer, but at a certain angle, because of which the vertices lying on the same axis are displayed in different places. Moreover, if you align them using the necessary buttons or a banal movement, they will visually align, but their coordinates will not change. It interferes with work. Can I do something about this?

Hi. The display in Max isn't very accurate when you do extreme zoom in, and the coordinate accuracy is highly dependent on your settings. I can't guarantee that this will fix it totally, but try it out:

1 - Set your accuracy to 4 digits (.0000) in "preferences", when modeling in "meter"

2 - Set both system unit and display units to the same "unit" (mm, cm, m etc.). This way there'll be no converting between the system and display under the hood

3 - Choose the unit that fits the case best (are you modeling a teacup then choose millimeter, are you modeling a part of a city use meter)

Hope it helps
