Hi,

Thanks for responding. To provide a bit of background please see the previous discussion link https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-forum/construction-build-animation-export-animated-fbx-issue-for/m-p/8715232#M171611

I create a build animation in navisworks with a revit file and imported it into 3ds max using naviset to transfer the timeline information. i wanted to export the 3ds max file as an animated fbx to run in lumion but the naviset script scaled each object to zero and when exporting to fbx there was an issue and the animation didnt work. the issue was that the first keys for the scaling animation are zero, and it looks like FBX does not accept that as indicated in the warnings when exporting. I set the scaling keys to .001 and then export again to test this and it work. i had to do this individually. I wanted to know if there was a way to change multiple scaling keys.

I hope this context gives you more of an idea of what i'm trying to achieve.

Hi,

The first key for the scaling animation is set at zero for all my objects. Is there a way of changing that X,Y,Z values for all objects at the same time without doing each individually?

I have been changing each key frame in track view and over 5000 entities.

Thanks in advance

Hello @Anonymous ,

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are trying to do, but you could:

select a bunch of those objects

turn on Autokey

go to frame 0 and set the scale you want by typing it into the scale dialog in Max. (Right click scale icon on toolbar to bring that up.)

Is that what you're trying to do? I don't know If I'd do 5000 objects at once, but you can try. If it is too slow, break it up into smaller chunks.

Best Regards,
