First of all thanks for your answer.

Hmm that sounds like a clunky workaround. Sad that they changed it to previous versions since I'd like to work with a grey color. But even with different colors it doesn't really make it for me.

Would be great if there'd be an option for this, so it looks like in the older versions.

Again, thanks for answering. Guess I'll have to work with it this way then 😕

Hi there,

I recently switched from max 2016 to 2020 and now I'd like to know how change settings so I can see the edges in "full opacity" when working with a plane or a similar object.

As you can see in the picture the edges of the of the one-sided parts are dark grey and I'd like them to be full white as the rest of the edges. Is this possible in 2020?

Thanks in advance!

You have 3 options to display the back faces and edges. I don't think you can customize these 3 options (except hide backfaces) Its related to the render display chosen, that is probably the response you don't want to hear as you perhaps want to stick with high quality, your current example. Standard will show clearly the edges but with black back faces. Performances only will show the edges and not the faces. I guess you can change between render systems depending of your needs.

But keep in mind you can add color to the object and the correct tone to make edges more visible with high quality display, no perfect but better. Grey over grey is not great

There is a way to change the color of the wireframe, but for both front and back, and Max changes dynamically the colors depending if it is front or back. This is with high quality display: But save your default colors file before to mess the colors
