topic Compositing JPEGS as a separate render element in 3ds Max Forum

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to create a render element/channel whereby JPEGS are outputted as its own layer. For context: often when rendering products, there are several graphic options. By having JPEGS in a 3DS Max file output in its own layer in a render, it would allow me to change just the graphic elements of the render on Photoshop (without shading, texture, etc. being influenced). Is there a render channel that allows this, or would I have to create one (and, if so, how)? I am working in Corona and Mental Ray.

Thanks,

Anya
