Hello,

I recently tried to archive files and share it with my collegue, but it showed the recent errors for him when he was trying to open the files, so I figured there is a corruption in my 3ds max, so I re-installed the 3ds max, deleted all plugins, and then tried to open the files in my PC, and now I have this problem also, so I re-installed all the plugins I have once again because maybe the plugins are what caused the files to behave in such way, and still the issue persists, Please let me know what can I do to fix such issue because I cannot open any of my files anymore with this problem, and the files contain a lot of work, so working on them is urgent for me.

The Issue was resolved by installing a newer version for 3Ds max, I installed 3dsmax 2025 instead. and the files are openning just fine now.

After a few days of combing the internet for answers, uninstalling & reinstalling both applications and plugins, I found the issue to be any uncollapsed object using a "Boolean" modifier. As soon as the boolean modifier was collapsed down to an Edit Poly the files opened fully.
My main computer had no issue opening the files (other than hanging up for about 30 seconds during opening) but all DR slaves were closing their loops at "parsing scene", forcing them into an endless loop of trying to open the file and never rendering anything.
Maybe a bug with the Boolean Modifier on 3ds Max 2024?

I guess that’s mainly the issue, because there is other projects that I have done before without using the boolean modifier and they were opening just fine, so I guess that’s the source of problem, maybe as you suggested if we can just convert the objects into editable poly and collapsing the boolean modifier the issue would be resolved, Thank you for your answer, appreciate it.

I deleted boolen and archived again, it fixed! this is interesting but it work, thanks everybody
