Hi,

To merge, just go to the File menu, move your mouse over the Import item,

Another sub-menu will pop up, choose Merge, now look for the Max file you want and click it,

A dialog will open up showing you, among other stuff, a list of all geometries in that Max file,

Pick those you want to merge, or simply click the All button to choose them all, and click OK.

Please refer to this post:

Is there an alternate method to assign texture maps to models?

In it, Miled Rizk kindly showed me/us how to "undo" what a hired designer had hidden, by using the "Pick Material From Object" tool.

Now, always curious, I would like to replicate step by step what happened. I have been looking in the Modifier List but can't seem to find a "Merge the Geometry" modifier.

TIA
