How do I disable this entirely. I do not like the new shortcut for cycling through view ports since I use my own keyboard shortcuts for views. I am along time user of max, seasoned game artist and never complain hardly on new updates to max, but this is extremely annoying.

Thank you in advance

I want to use the new Windows 10 screen capture functionality in 3DSmax to make screen grabs of the viewport, and the keyboard shortcut for that is Windows-Shift-S, so when I press those keys, the 3dsmax UI flips into viewport toggle mode before I get to pressing the "S" key, and all I am left to "grab"is the floating viewport toggle UI, instead of the viewport alone.

Max tantilizingly offers an amazingly difficult to use UI to customize keyboard shortcuts, but it does not appear to either register the "Windows Shift" keyboard keys when I attempt to enter them into it, and I could not find "Viewport Cycling" as one of the commands to be customized anyway.

So I an stumped, and so I am asking how to solve my problem here.

Yay! Not the most elegant solution, as it is all too easy to get the ordering wrong, and I would have preferred a solution which changed the keyboard command for windows cycling within 3dsmax, but doing this does let me to make screen grabs....

I actually really like this feature, and use it daily. I used to toggle between full screen views and the 4 viewport layout constantly. But when my model is complex, switching to all 4 views could be slow. The ability to switch directly between two viewports, keeping them full screen, saves me a lot of time.

As mentioned earlier the way to still get screenshots while in Max is to hold the Shift key, then hit Windows and then S. This method will not invoke the viewport cycling. So really nothing to 'fix'.

Am I right, Autodesk stuff KNEW the consequences of using reserved WIN key combination and HARDCODED this INTENTIONALLY? And now all artists must do workarounds because of Autodesk seems don't have QA department at all?
It's not hard to remember every time you stumble in this situation, re do that action «right» with "****, sure... That lamers from Autodesk! Huh..."
But there is the question. Is Autodesk really wanted that?

Imagine if every workaround to Max issues is labeled as a solution, therefore "nothing to fix"!

"Windows+Shift" is conflicting with operating-system-wide behavior. That's the real issue. Max can't force users into changing the way we use Windows.

Max has a powerful feature, of allowing keyboard customizations for almost everything. That's the fix, allow as to override that shortcut with something else.
