&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I believe your custom changes will be saved once you close 3ds Max. If you haven't closed it since making those UI changes, the new instance will open with the default settings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>New Instance of Max Resets Settings</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am scared to close an instance of Max due to the fact when I open another one, it looks like it's reset itself. What can I do to prevent this? Or is it too late. I have so many custom settings and scripts installed. It's unbelievable it just decides to reset itself like this. This picture is showing what Max looks like when I open another instance of it. I just moved the windows next to each other for comparison.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
