You can't. You can go current version - 3 if subscribing, but old versions are no longer available.

Hey there!

Those really early versions sometimes show up on ebay - of course their only value is as a collector's item - but I have picked up a few over the years. I'm a bit of a collector of old software like that. 🙂

@Diffus3dis right on about not finding any versions that old through Autodesk.

Hello!

Although "legacy" copies of 3ds Max or 3D Studio for MS-DOS can't really be installed and authorized today, the old boxed copies are interesting as historical items. (Especially the packaging and the printed docs.)
