how to change tooltip in haml files?

I want to implement my tooltip for 3ds max, but I don't understand how to save changes in the MaxTooltips.xaml file. I was able to make my tooltips in the ToolTips.xaml file without any problems, but when I save the MaxTooltips.xaml file, nothing happens. The tooltip text in 3ds max does not change, it remains the same as it was before editing. How can this be fixed?
I use Notepad++ to edit files
3ds max version 2023

Thanks for coming to the 3ds Max forums with your question! I'm not seeing a simple answer right off the bat, and have never done this myself, so take the following with a grain of salt 😄

I found this thread on the forums here on a similar topic, and Changsoo Eun posted on the tooltip topic for 3ds Max 2017, maybe theres an answer in either of these conversations. Hoping you make some progress, and let us know, perhaps someone else from the community has some insight.

I was able to solve my problem. To change the tooltip, you need to edit the ToolClips_Converted.xml file. The MaxTooltips.xaml file does not affect the tooltips at all, it is needed to view the "key" (ID) and based on this information, you can make your own tooltips by adding a couple of lines of code to ToolClips_Converted.xml.
