Hey guys,

we recently upgraded from Max 2018 to Max 2020.3 (22,0 - 22.3.0.3165)

Good thing I insisted on keeping Max 2018 for the time being, because the .jt - import in Max 2020 gives me this error(it´s in german, so I try to translate it):

"The application will be closed because of an error.

Since the last save no changes have been made to the scene"

This happend with a bunch of jt-files I tested and each and every one of them imported fine in Max 2018.

Please tell me, that there is a quick fix for this. We need that import on a daily basis and it´s a show stopper like this. 😞

Thanks for any help!

I tried it with three different jt-version: 9.5, which we use most of the time, 10.0 and 10.2

All result in the same error and Max-crash.

Can anybody please help?

We prefer nPower-Translator. More flexible - less headaches.

thanks for your message, but this is not an option.

Another Tool means more costs, more software maintenance, more IT-security-hazzle (everything has to be go through a thorough process, before it can be depoloyed inside our IT-infrastructure)

The way the importer worked in 2018 was just fine.

May I ask, if you can import .jt withour a problem in your Max2020? If so, maybe ours doesn´t work, because the software needs some ports to be open?

cheers!
