Hello, We would like to export a Max3DS file to Sketchup but receive several output warnings. Attached printscreen of the messages. What is wrong? Can you help us please? //Christina

Based on what I'm seeing in the error window, there are some lights that can't be exported and several objects exceed the polycount limit of 64,000. You will have to hide/remove the lights and either simplify or break up high poly objects so they are less than 64,000 faces.

Thanks for helping out. But if we simplify or break up high poly objects does the picture then change or does it work like Photoshop that you flatten layers? Sorry I do not really know how this works. Or what should we do? Thanks again. 😉

If high polygon objects are separated into lower polygon objects, they should still render and appear the same as before.
