[BUG] Macro button works, but hotkey doesn't

I'm trying to hotkey the "hard" button from the Selection Ribbon:

It selects " hard" (sharp) edges.
Using MAXScript Listener I can see it's called "Sharp Edges"

Here you can see pressing the Hotkey is the same exact macro as pressing the button in the ribbon, however, when you press the Hotkey the macro is run, but nothing gets selected.
Using the ribbon button, the same macro is run, and edges are actually selected.

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue,

I think the hotkey must not be working as you expect because you used the Shift modifier key in the Hotkey. Using the Shift key with the Hard/SharpEdges commands result in keeping only the hard selected from your current selection, if you don't have anything selected, nothing happen.

I admit this can be unexpected, but it can be useful too, you can assign 2 hotkeys to SharpEdges, one with Shift, the other without and have both behavior available. We will track this issue to try to make this behavior discoverable or something to consider if we revisit modifier keys usage.
