Hello, sorry I never followed up on this like I should have.

I have all the updates for max 2021. This has always been an issue in any version I don't understand.

Here's a picture to better help show and explain what happens.

The only thing the same about these meshes is the geometry lays on top of one another. Everything else is different about these two objects down to the vertex IDs. But what causes turbosmooth to lay the edge faces in different directions? It's absolutely vital I have the faces on both of these objects facing the same way. This is a small example. Copying this would be easy but I'm dealing with very large and complex objects that I will need to turbosmooth and then have all of their edges facing same way..

My goal is to have one sitting barely over the other, but when the faces are doing this there are many areas that will poke through now.

Hello, I'm using 3ds Max 2021. Frequently objects in my scene can only be selected when completely selecting the object, like the window/crossing feature. My issue is this is NOT turned on. And on top of that, it only is with certain objects. All other objects are selected like normal, by clicking on them or just a partial drag click. Reloading the scene seems to temporarily fix/reset this. However it's becoming an increasingly annoying occurrence, so I'm hoping to get to the bottom of it. Thanks!

Hi @Couch_Potatoh,

Thanks for sharing your issue with us.

Do you have any updates applied to 3ds Max?

How could I reproduce this exactly?

Any disabled viewports?

What kind of objects are you working with? For example high/low poly, modifiers used, and isolated objects.

Any screenshots or videos would be appreciated.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
