As you can see - in Max 2020 there are no problems.
On the other hand, Max 2022 and 2023 have a problem - as can be seen in the following link

I tried this on my 2020 and 2022.

I was not able to reproduce this.

Are you using any custom scripts, or installed plug-ins?

Perhaps disable everything and try it again in the stock/vanilla 3ds Max?

At Max 2020 the problem does not exist. It exists at Max 2022 and 2023

Thanks for the follow up.

Apologies I was away on vacation.

I hoped someone with more experience in this particular area, or a member of the dev team had seen this and provided further assistance.

If more users confirm this, it is likely an issue with 3dsMax.

If it is just you, then perhaps something has gone wrong during the install, or a WindowsOS change, or a driver could be at fault.

Sorry I cannot be of more help at the moment.

Hopefully some other users can test?

My team and myself are also experiencing the same issue. There's no issue in 2020 but in 2022 the railing pinches at the end. I tested something out wondering if the error was using spline imported from CAD (blue railing) vs spline created in MAX (purple railing) and maybe that's the issue others are having as well?
