Following a boolean subtract my resulting object is still in the scene explorer, the file is also the same size as before yet I can't see it? Was it accidentally deleting during the boolean operation or am I needing to do something in order to see it again? file is attached.

If I set the Boolean Display to "Operands" I can see the original objects. Why the result ends up gone is difficult to say without being able to see the original objects. Usually something like this happens if one or more of the objects has open edges. Possibly due to you also using a body object in your boolean? I would also try converting that body object to an Edit Poly before using it in the boolean.
