topic Problems with exporting Revit materials to FBX in 3ds Max Forum

Recently, 3ds Max dropped support for Autodesk Generic materials. So if I open a Revit project with 3ds Max, I get the following error message:

Since 3ds Max does not recognise the materials properly, they are not exported to FBX. As a result, Autodesk Glass materials are not assigned in the FBX. Instead, the window panes are exported material-less. I have tried to assign default Revit shaders (instead of the glass shaders), but any Revit material with translucency seems to be interpreted by 3ds Max as glass. What approach could I take to fix this?
