Cannot Clear Render Output

Hello. I am trying to clear the render output from the common tab of the render setup dialogue. I did not setup my file to automatically save the render output, so I'm not sure how it got set that way. But I am apparently unable to clear it, which is causing issues when I try to batch render from my file.

I have had this issue in the past, and my go to solution was to copy and paste a short script from these forums. Apparently, the post I've been copying that script from is over 10 years old and I am no longer able to access it, because AutoDesk has decided to take down all posts that are over 10 years old.

Can anyone help with this? This used to take less than a minute to fix, but now I am several hours into trying to figure it out with no luck.

Yes! Thank you so much! Trying to get this simple answer from someone at AutoDesk was like trying to get blood from a stone.
