Hi,

Great to see you're so full of enthusiasm, but there are several phrases that come to mind;
Trying to run before learning to walk, Jumping in at the deep end, or Biting off more you can chew.
There are plenty more here: https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/another-word-for/jump_in_at_the_deep_end.html

In the meantime, I would start with the basics:
To model a coil of wire I would probably use:
Create Panel -> Geometry -> Dynamics Objects -> Spring

This will give you a good basis for creating a coil of wire.

After that, I'd jump onto YouTube and spend a while (a few days, months, years maybe) looking at tutorial videos 🙂

Best of luck,
Regards,

Hello,

I would like to create a black metal wire.

I want it to look good so you can really see it's a metal wire and so i can animate it to float

I am new to all of this, i just installed Autodesk 3ds max 2023 few days ago.

My plan is to have the metal wire on the ground and it floats up a meter and the white zippers that are on the picture as well i want to cut them, and the wire will open slightly, i haven't found anything similar done anywhere else.

Many thanks again.
