topic Morpher Spinner Will Not Move In Auto Animate Mode in 3ds Max Animation and Rigging Forum

What is happening.

I have a mesh with the following:

Skin modifier on top.

Morpher modifier beneath that.

Edit Poly on bottom-- no other modifiers

I can change the morph modifiers when "Auto" animate is off, but when I turn it on, the individual morph spinners will not move for each morpher channel. They did work once, but no longer work, and I do not know why. Expected behavior: I turn on "Auto" animate mode, and adjust morpher spinners to animate the blend shape.

If I add a new morph target, that new morph will work during Auto animate-- spinners work fine, but about

20 other pre-existing spinners that once worked, will no longer move. I um unable to set keys for them.

If I go into Paremeter Wiring and click on a morph channel that is stuck, and right click, and select "Reset to Default Control" the spinner will work again in "Auto" animate mode, but I lose all my keys. This is, of course, not desirable.

This issue is preventing me from continuing animating, and backing up to a previous iteration is only feasible if I re-do a great deal of work-- might be impossible.

Desperate for some help.

Any advice is appreciated.
