As pepted says, it is because you have an object trying to wire a set of coordinates reserved for knowing where the object is in world space.

As a rule, when I am rigging, I parent the control to a helper (axis aligned) and then parent the helper into the rig and then freeze the transforms before adding on any other level of control required. Then the new xyz attributes can be accessed to create transform control from a zero value.

Also, I never scale objects before parenting into a hierarchy either, there are better ways to control scale if required.

regards

Hello,

I am trying to add a control shape for the eyebrows of my character but every time I go into wire parameters and connect the bone and helper move to a different position,

does anyone know why this is doing it?

I have attached a file for you to look at.

Thanks

Chris

Hey Chris, this is happening because you are properly wiring tracks that are not zeroed out.

- Do you have your bone in the proper place? and the control in the proper place?

- If so then Select the Object(s) and then ALT + RMB. You will see the option to Freeze Transforms (Translation and Rotation).

- No wire the newly created pos/rot tracks and it should move properly.
