Good afternoon.

i need you help for my animation. When i render my sequence i get a sequence of pngs like this:

filename_0000.png filename_0001.png filename_0002.png filename_0003.png etc

i need to change the frame padding directly while rendering in max to a frame like filename_00.png filename_01.png

filename_02.png. only two decimals you know.

Is there any trick to set it in Max instead of using a renaming tool??

Please help

regards

This has been brought up a few times. Nothing that I am aware of. You could possibly script a tool to do the job post frame rendered. Nothing direct though, no switch or preference setting.

Rename tools are well another step but not that terrible an inconvenience as long as you only rename and send out the finals.

Not that it wouldn't be nice to be able to set that pad value 0-10+
