Problem with cloth simulation for manga hair

Hi ^^

I've a problem since a week and I don't know how to solve it... I try to make a hair simulation with cloth modifiers wich collide on the body of my character. But... it collide a little on the back and nothing on the front! why?

There is screenshots I made to illustrate. "cheveux" are hair and "corps" is body (I'm french)

Also, why my sim take so long? I try to tesselate the body and/or subdivide it because somebody tell me to try that... it's because of that? My computer is nearly new and I've a very good setup...

The problem that i see here:

The hair is probably already intersecting with the collider(->head mesh) at simulation start.
You are only using 1 subsample. Very likely to low for the faster moving hair.

This brings down simulation performance as the algortithm tries to solve the collider/cloth intersections.

Possible solution:

You might get away by moving the simulation hair out of the collider first. Make sure the hair-mesh is not intersecting with the collider.
Detach the ponytail and strands from the main hair and simulate only these.Keep the top hair just skinned. Again make sure that they are not intersecting with the collider at start.
Always make sure you use real world measurement for your objects, so the ponytail should be 20cm in your scene and not 20m or something like that.
If you see during simulation that the hair goes through the collider, which can happen with fast moving hair, you will need to increase the subsamples.
