Well thanks for helping. I solved it myself...

When you import an object as FBX or 3DS or any other form, the controller dummies' controller is changed from EULER, POSITION XYZ etc. to TCB... this means that the motion (even on still frames) are controlled based on a curve that the regular curve editor will not show...

Hi everyone,

I have a basic FK setup where a robot arm is controlled by dummy objects. Very simple. When I setup one dummy (animating in auto key mode) to rotate the vertical arm of the robot between frame 100 and 140 it works and rotates the robot properly. After that I would like the robot to stay completely steady between frames 140 and 180 in the same position where I put it at frame 140, but the same joint that I rotated wiggles up and down. Why is this wiggling? I have not touched or changed anything on the dummy's rotation or position. It is literally the same position where I left it, I just simply insert a new keyframe with the "setKey" button. I even tried to simply copy the keyframe from 140 and move it to 180 to make sure it remains the same but still the dummy wiggles. See video.

I tried both keeping the animation control as "selected" or creating a named selection "robotarm" to have the animation effect all objects in the robot arm but still this joint wiggles between 140 and 180. I would think that such small thing works by itself but here we are...

Appreciate any help.
