Downloading AutoCAD 2D Dwg format

When I am attempting to download my model in Autocad 2D DWG format or DXF format, I see the loading bar for a second and then no download. I'm not sure I understand the requirements for these formats. I have the following:

-Inventor IDW file with iLogic rules for customizing drawing (works for PDF, DWF, InventorDWG)

-DWG.ini file named "OptionsDWG.ini"

-DXF.ini file named "OptionsDXF.ini"

Is there something I'm missing?

Check your browser settings to see if it allows javascript to download files and open new windows

I am able to download PDF,DWF, and 3D formats. So I'm assuming that I do have that setting enabled.

From the Downloads bar in the design. They just download into my downloads folder.

Thanks for reporting this.

For the download issues for Autocad 2D DWG format or DXF format, you mentioned that loading bar for a second and then no download. Can you go to the error log page https://configurator360.autodesk.com/Dashboard/Log/ErrorLog and system log page https://configurator360.autodesk.com/Dashboard/Log/SystemLog to check if there is any download error information there?

If you're using the chrome browser, you can press "F12" to enable "DevTools", and select the tab "network" to see if the ExecuteReturnResultAction works fine when you download the Autocad 2D DWG format or DXF format.

If you still don't have any clue about the download problem, could you please share me the design url which you encounter the problem? And we can do more research against that.

When I try and download the AutoCAD2D format, I don't get any errors in the error log or system log. However I am getting this error in the console of the browser:

Does the AutoCAD format download as a .zip folder? If so that would explain the issue because .zip download types are blocked by our network.

If so, does it need to download as a .zip folder or can I have it just download the AutoCAD file directly? (like it does with the PDF format)

Thanks for sharing the fail information.

For AutoCAD format download, It's download as a .zip folder. If you download as the Inventor DWG, it can download a DWG file if there is one drawing file in the zip file which you upload to Configurator 360.
