Hi,

I have an student license of the helius composites. the question is that i do not have any data for the fiber, core, lamina, etcc in the library so i can not créate any configuration. the only thing i can do is to build my own library, but it is difficult for me to find all the required data. Is it posible to download the libraires for the Helius composite?.

thanks, JL

Hello JL,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Helius Composite comes with a default library filled with a wide array of well defined materials. Windows 10 installations appear to be sensitive to User account control settings. My advisement to overcome the missing materials is as follows.

1. File > Import Directory

2. Navigate to the data directory here C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Helius Composite 2017\Data

3. Select OK

4. In the Import Entire Directory dialogue select the Import button.

Upon successful completion a dialogue will display showing successfully imported files. Simply click ok and you will see the materials loaded in the tree.

Thanks,

Dean

If my post answers your question, please click the "Accept as Solution" button. This helps everyone find answers more quickly!
